Immediate opening: we are hiring a safety officer in Oakland County, Michigan. Day-to-day duties: • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors You should have: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
