What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Willing to work shifts and overtime Day-to-day duties: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
