Gas installation technician wanted in Osage County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Osage County, Kansas. You should have: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious Your main tasks: • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
