We are recruiting: we are hiring a counter butcher in Kenai Peninsula Borough, Alaska. On a typical shift you will weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts. Ideal candidate: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • 2+ years experience working as a butcher At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
