Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Hodgeman County, Kansas. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Your main tasks: • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces 2+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $2,600 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
