GMAW welder — Derry City and Strabane

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Derry City and Strabane, Northern Ireland. On a typical shift you will clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding. What we are looking for: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. £120 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
