Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in James City County, Virginia. The job is in a tool room. Day-to-day duties: • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part What we are looking for: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Full-time, day shift.
