Join our team: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in Carbon County, Utah. The job is at a busy body shop. Ideal candidate: • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing The role involves: • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
