Great opportunity: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Saline County, Missouri. You will work in a metal fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Day-to-day duties: • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
