Tailor machinist • Morgan County, Kentucky

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Morgan County, Kentucky. You will be based in a small denim manufacturing unit. The role involves: • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go You should have: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
