Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Clinton County, Michigan. You will work at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Day to day you will feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper. Requirements: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
