Canteen cook — Columbia County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a canteen cook in Columbia County, Wisconsin. You will work in a catering banquet kitchen. The role involves cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; prepare the mise en place before each service; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service. What we are looking for: • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat Overtime paid at a premium rate.
