Urgent requirement: gas service engineer (North Carolina)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Stanly County, North Carolina. The job is in customers' homes and kitchens. Requirements: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations On the job you will handle: • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
