Elevator service technician — County of Flintshire

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an elevator service technician in County of Flintshire, Wales. You will be based in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Day-to-day duties: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes You should have: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. £2,150 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
