Scaffolding charge hand — La Crosse County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a scaffolding charge hand in La Crosse County, Wisconsin. You will be based on a residential housing development. Ideal candidate: • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang On the job you will handle: • Erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage • Fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use Performance bonus on top of base pay.
