Join our team: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Obot Akara, Akwa Ibom State. You will be based on the moulding line. You should have: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding The role involves maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles.
