Concrete labourer • De Soto Parish, Louisiana

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete labourer in De Soto Parish, Louisiana. What we are looking for: • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker The role involves: • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site 6+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $3,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
