Fabrication workshop technician • Steuben County, Indiana

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Steuben County, Indiana. You will be based on site fitting windows in new-build flats. Requirements: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings Your main tasks: • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
