Truck driver wanted in City of Charlottesville

Now hiring: we are hiring a truck driver in City of Charlottesville, Virginia. You will work at a haulage company. On a typical shift you will operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery; plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off. You should have: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience • Current Driver CPC qualification card Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
