Now hiring: we are hiring a glazing fabricator in Alger County, Michigan. You will work at a doors and windows manufacturing unit. The role involves: • Crimp the corner joints and fit corner cleats on the crimping machine • Read fabrication drawings and take site measurements for windows and doors • Check frames for plumb, level and square before fixing • Punch and notch sections for cleats, gaskets and hardware • Load and offload fabricated units without scratching the finish • Apply silicone sealant and weather seals around the frames Requirements: • Able to read shop drawings and work to given sizes • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding and ladders Part-time with flexible hours. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
