Fire and safety officer wanted in Ross County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Ross County, Ohio. The role involves: • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges You should have: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
