Metal caster wanted in Atakunmosa West

Vacancy available: we are hiring a metal caster in Atakunmosa West, Osun State. The job is at a brass and bronze foundry. The role involves inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch. What we are looking for: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Rotating shifts.
