Join our team: fettler (Michigan)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fettler in Ontonagon County, Michigan. On a typical shift you will melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale. You should have: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal 6+ years on the tools preferred.
