Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Dade County, Georgia. The job is on a busy residential building site. You will keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings. What we are looking for: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Full-time with occasional weekends. $220 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
