Vertical transportation technician wanted in Shelby County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Shelby County, Iowa. You will be based at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Ideal candidate: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Day to day you will install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; run load and overload tests with test weights. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
