Vacancy available: we are hiring a safety officer in Carroll County, Tennessee. You will work at an oil and gas facility. On the job you will handle: • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $28 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
