Vacancy available: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Putnam County, Indiana. The job is at a stainless steel fabrication shop. The role involves carry out 6G pipe welds where required; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper. Requirements: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
