Vacancy available: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Washington County, Texas. Requirements: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Day-to-day duties: • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
