Thermal insulation technician • Isle of Wight County, Virginia

Immediate opening: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Isle of Wight County, Virginia. You will be based on a construction site. You should have: • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Able to read construction drawings and specifications Your main tasks: • Spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding • Prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $5,300 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
