Immediate opening: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Lincoln Parish, Louisiana. Ideal candidate: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles The role involves check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Contact us to fix an interview.
