Floor and wall tile fitter • Cedar County, Iowa

We are recruiting: we are hiring a floor and wall tile fitter in Cedar County, Iowa. You will work on a residential construction site. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) Day to day you will check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away; match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls; cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter; make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits; fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even; mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency.
