Immediate opening: we are hiring a short order cook in Tudun Wada, Kano State. The job is at a roadside dhaba. Requirements: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate Your main tasks: • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
