Now hiring: elevator technician (Mississippi)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an elevator technician in Issaquena County, Mississippi. You will work at a busy lift company. You will rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; run load and overload tests with test weights. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate Full-time with occasional weekends.
