Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Siskiyou County, California. Ideal candidate: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways You will service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; run load and overload tests with test weights; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays.
