Great opportunity: moulder (Pennsylvania)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a moulder in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania. On the job you will handle: • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts 5+ years on the tools preferred.
