Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Saguache County, Colorado. The role involves: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters You should have: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Pay around $16 per hour, based on your experience.
