Foundry labourer • Orangeburg County, South Carolina

Great opportunity: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Orangeburg County, South Carolina. You will be based in a non-ferrous casting shop. The role involves fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces. Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts 2+ years on the tools preferred. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
