Rebar worker — City of Buena Vista

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rebar worker in City of Buena Vista, Virginia. You will work on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. You will install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules. What we are looking for: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements 6+ years on the tools preferred.
