Immediate opening: we are hiring a glass fitter in Floyd County, Iowa. You will work on a construction site. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height with scaffolding and ladders • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves • Driving licence for site-to-site work preferred Your main tasks: • Replace cracked or broken window panes • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame • Secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris • Glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions Six days a week, one day off.
