Great opportunity: shuttering carpenter (England)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Leicestershire, England. You will be based at a shopfitting company. The role involves: • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists Ideal candidate: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. We offer £1,750 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
