Urgent requirement: we are hiring a prep cook in Beadle County, South Dakota. The job is in a hospital or office canteen. Day-to-day duties: • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in You should have: • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards Pay around $5,300 per month, based on your experience.
