Immediate opening: we are hiring a bread baker in Newton County, Indiana. Requirements: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Basic cake decorating and piping skills On a typical shift you will shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; load and unload the deck oven with a peel. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
