Machine operator — City of Suffolk

Great opportunity: we are hiring a machine operator in City of Suffolk, Virginia. Your main tasks: • Weigh, measure and label raw materials before each batch • Apply batch codes and date stamps to the packaging • Report machine faults and stoppages to the line supervisor • Change over tooling and settings between product runs • Operate and feed production machines on the line Ideal candidate: • Experience on a manufacturing or assembly line • Aware of basic safety rules and PPE use • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Six days a week, one day off.
