Requirements: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings The role involves: • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
