Great opportunity: panel painter (New Mexico)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a panel painter in Taos County, New Mexico. You will be based at a dealership paint shop. Requirements: • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing The role involves wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying. 1+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $2,900 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
