Your main tasks: • Mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection • MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place You should have: • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage Part-time with flexible hours.
