Urgent requirement: earthmoving plant operator (Texas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Lavaca County, Texas. You will work at a plant hire yard. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance On a typical shift you will keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; stockpile and spread material to the required levels; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift. 1+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $3,000 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
