Press shop operator wanted in City of Richmond

Now hiring: we are hiring a press shop operator in City of Richmond, Virginia. You will work at a busy press shop. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges On the job you will handle: • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $5,100 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
