Heavy equipment operator (dozer) wanted in Madera County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Madera County, California. The job is on a road construction project. On the job you will handle: • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals What we are looking for: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
