Vacancy available: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Putnam County, Indiana. You will work in a CNC machining unit. Your main tasks: • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters Requirements: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T Full-time with occasional weekends.
